SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will manage the full spectrum of the financial planning & analysis function for Germany, UK, Nordics, Australia and AI. As a direct report to senior management, you will lead the management reporting process, budgeting, forecasting and business-related analysis to provide useful insights. As a key business partner within the finance team, you will be working closely with the senior management such as Commercial Directors, Sales Ops Directors as well as respective finance teams (credit & billing, FRA etc.). The DUKAN region covers approx. 50% of group revenue and there has high impact on the overall success of the Autovista Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To report and analyse financial results of the newly created region
  • to enable understanding of commercial performance of the business
  • To prepare monthly outlooks, annual quarterly forecasts and budgets
  • To prepare and support month-end-closing process 
  • To influence key business decisions makers to ensure the right commercial outcome based on sound and comprehensive financial analysis and bring financial rig and focus to business decisions
  • Focus on revenue management and yield controlling, sales performance improvement
  • Consolidation of regional financial information
  • Manage 2 direct reports (FP&A Analysts Germany and UK)
  • Monitor revenue and profitability growth based on strategic and budget targets and propose corrective actions where necessary
  • Continuous improvement of standard processes with focus on cross country process standardization
  • Analysing Group KPIs and turning insights into action
  • Responsible for the annual sales targets and commission plans for the region
     

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • German/English fluent
  • Business / accounting degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a FP&A /Controlling position demonstrating influence on commercial decisions
  • Commercially aware, excellent communicator and strong interpersonal skills to deal with management and staff in different cultural environments
  • Strong reporting and confident verbal communication skills
  • Numeric / strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to describe complex circumstances in a simple but accurate way
  • Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges
  • Ability to work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines
  • Positive “Can do attitude” and business partner mentality, open to changing environments
  • Good Knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Good understanding business information and subscription based businesses
  • Very good knowledge of CRM/Financial consolidation/Reporting/office tools (e.g. Salesforce, Onestream, MS Office)
