We are responsible for finding commercial solutions to customer needs. Customer research is at the heart of our development programmes to ensure we understand customer workflows/ user journeys.
We work cross-functionally to successfully launch and manage best of breed products that will increase our subscription revenues and volumes.
We work cross-functionally to improve or optimise working processes and practices across Autovista Group to drive efficiencies. 
 

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

This role is key to all stages of the Repair & Insurer Products within Autovista Group.  
This will require the Product Manager to define scope and business requirements and take overall responsibility for translation, testing, commercialisation for launch and development of updates for hosted products. It involves working with the research/ product/ tech and support teams to implement best of breed product so that legacy applications can be closed. Throughout this process, the Product Manager has to ensure that the commercial teams understand the benefits of the new service and how best to promote and deliver this to clients. 


The three core areas of this role require the Product Manager to:
1.    work closely with customers and internal product and tech teams and external development teams to prioritise and execute the plans for the rollout of the best of breed products. It is essential that each launch and country roll outs is fit for purpose, has an efficient workflow post-launch and is delivered on time and budget. 

2.    work closely with product/ tech/ sales/ marketing/ CX/ operations teams to ensure that they are able to commercialise the product and to establish feedback loops for improvements to related products.

3.    work closely with the product/ tech/ sales/ marketing/ CX/ operations teams to drive needed incremental developments to reflect customer requirements and enable the commercial teams to justify annual price increases.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Beside the main responsibilities described in the job description for Product Manager Repair & Claims the initial objectives is to take over the responsibility as a product manager for the claims management solution VOL/QuickCheck:

  • ensuring a good handover and knowledge transfer from the current contractor (which is leaving end of June 2023)
  • ensuring a good general understanding of the current insurance market from the perspective of Eurotax Austria and Eurotax Slovenia (basic processes and roles in claims management, current internal and external stakeholders for both countries)
  • ensuring a good knowledge of claims management products currently in use (functionality, workflows, existing documentation, planned development, open requests/known issues)
  • ensuring necessary activities in the context of current and future product life cycle management (requirements management, development, quality control, release planning, maintenance plans)
  • ensuring close cooperation and support with sales team / key account but also CX team for a corresponding stakeholder management to important customers
  • ensuring a relationship management of the Insurance customers as this will be key for success of the claims management solution VOL/QuickCheck going forwards 

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Familiar with the processes of developing software products 
  • ideally a good understanding of agile software development
  • Excellent knowledge of German language, both orally and writing
  • Excellent knowledge of English language, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing ideas, concepts, recommendations, technical and complex information clearly and concisely in a timely manner, at a level consistent with the audience
  • Ideally a good understanding of European automotive industry
  • Excellent time management skills

The basic annual salary in accordance to the collective agreement is Euro 40.000 on a full-time basis if the above requirements are met. In addition, an overpayment in line with the market is offered depending on your qualifications and experience.
