Service Desk Engineer

As key member of the Service Desk Team the role will be responsible for provide the first point of contact for all Group Operations IT requests. This role is expected to deliver excellent proactive service to the users of the Service Desk in terms of response, communication and resolution, responding to all requests upon receipt and escalation of requests that cannot be resolved by Service Desk all within the agreed SLA.

 

This role also requires the ability to identify, prioritise and troubleshoot issues. You will need to ensure that all support requests are recorded and allocated in accordance with the agreed support strategy and service levels. To keep the end user update on the progress of their request and follow up on escalated issues for the end users.

 

You will be required to provide a high level of customer service and an understanding of the user’s requirements. Identifying and providing end user Training requirements where possible.

This role is responsible for implementing and overseeing a comprehensive operational People & Performance service across the European and Australian businesses.  Managing and developing the People & Performance system (MAX) and leading the People & Performance admin support team.

Partnering with the Learning and Development and wider People Team to embed culture change and development initiatives.
